San Diego City Council passed the “Stop Adolescent Addiction From E-Cigarettes (SAAFE Act)” which will ban the sale of flavored tobacco and vape products starting January 2023. Championed by Councilwoman Marni von Wilpert, this ordinance will follow similar actions taken by other cities such as Imperial Beach, Encinitas, Solana Beach and SD Unincorporated.
