Welcome to Smoke-Free San Diego

Smoke-Free San Diego is a project run by the Tobacco-Free Coalition of San Diego County, a group of local organizations and community members working together to protect people from secondhand smoke and to push for stronger smoke-free policies.

Over the past 20 years, San Diego has made a lot of progress in reducing exposure to secondhand smoke, cutting down on tobacco litter, and preventing illegal tobacco sales.

This website explains how the smoke‑free movement has grown in San Diego and provides easy‑to‑understand information about state and local policies that help keep our communities healthy.
